Security Policy

The State CET Cell is committed to protecting critical information and information infrastructure of fn.mahacet.org from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, modification and disposal, whether intentional or unintentional.

Measures in place

• All traffic between your browser and the portal is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Candidate data — passports, transcripts and payment records — is stored on access-controlled infrastructure and is available only to authorised officials of the Cell.
• Online payments are processed by an authorised payment-gateway provider; complete card details are neither stored nor visible to the portal.
• Servers are kept patched and are monitored for unusual activity; periodic security reviews and audits are conducted.
• Role-based access control and audit logging govern administrative access to the system.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your login credentials confidential and sign out after using shared computers.
• The Cell never asks for your password over phone or e-mail. Report suspicious messages claiming to be from the portal to student@mahacet.org.
• Make payments only through the payment gateway integrated within fn.mahacet.org.

Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security weakness in this portal, please report it responsibly to student@mahacet.org. We acknowledge genuine reports and remediate confirmed issues on priority.
