Website Monitoring Plan
The State CET Cell periodically monitors fn.mahacet.org to address and fix quality and compatibility issues, so that the portal remains fast, secure and available to candidates across the world. Monitoring covers the following parameters:
Functionality
All modules of the portal — registration, eligibility checking, document upload, payment and seat-allotment views — are tested for smooth functioning after every release and at regular intervals in between.
Performance
Page download times are monitored across different connection speeds, keeping in mind that our candidates access the portal from more than 68 countries with widely varying network conditions.
Broken links
The site is scanned for broken internal and external links every month, as detailed in the Broken Links Policy.
Compatibility
The portal is tested on current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge) and across device classes — desktop, tablet and mobile — to ensure a consistent experience regardless of how candidates access it.
Traffic and availability
Server availability and traffic patterns are monitored continuously. Capacity is reviewed ahead of peak admission periods so that deadline-day surges do not affect registration.
